【文章摘要】      An amorphous silica coating was prepared on graphite substrate by laser cladding to improve the ablation resistance using a silicon interlayer as a transition layer. The laser cladding processes were carried out in the air atmosphere, which can simplify production conditions. The amorphous silica coating is uniform and dense, combining well with the graphite substrate. There is no obvious boundary between the silicon transition layer and the silica coating. Ablation test demonstrates that the silica coating has excellent performance compared to the uncoated graphite, and the silica-coated graphite has a weight loss of 2.17% after 80 min. After the ablation test, the silica coating still has a uniform and dense microtopography.
